Joined by guitar luminary Farrell Lowe, Vickie Dodd and James Hoskins are back with their second Right Brain Records release. Komorebi is the outcome of an expansive January recording session in Boulder, Colorado. Along with sound engineer and contributing instrumentalist Jesse Manno, these long-time friends came together to blend their diverse talents into spontaneous new soundscapes.

What is this music? Simple labels don't suffice. James brings deep classical, world and experimental music experience. Farrell is rooted in avant-garde jazz and electronic experimentation. Vickie is an internationally recognized sound healer, or "sounder," interpreting vibrations of the human body in real time. All of that is here. You might call it freely improvised Earth music.

But you may be better off not calling it anything. Just sit back, set aside expectations, forget about time and let these magnetic sounds flow over you...
